Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA)


Formed in response to the attacks of 11 September 2001, the PFPA absorbed the Pentagon Police Force. The role of the PFPA was expanded to provide protection against threats to the 280 acre Pentagon Reservation. PFPA also provides basic law enforcement and security for the Pentagon and the Department of Defense interests in the National Capitol Region (NCR).
