Located in Chicago, the Midwest BLS Information Office services the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

The regional BLS Information Offices are not only for government employees. The general public can also obtain assistance for finding economic information they need. For example, the information specialists can advise you on the availability of BLS data, publications, and information services. Staff economists also assist customers with technical questions regarding survey terms and definitions, and with the interpretation and application of BLS data.
